8 Insurance Company Achieves Predicate Best Insurance 2015



A total of eight national insurance company in 2015 was awarded the best insurance Investor magazine, details of three life insurance, general insurance and one of four reinsurance.

They were selected from 12 nominees who obtained the highest score in each of the asset classes both life insurance and general insurance.

In the life insurance group, the award was received by PT Prudential Life Assurance for the category of assets above Rp 15 trillion. PT Panin Dai-ichi Life to the category of assets between Rp 5 trillion to Rp 15 trillion. Recently, PT Asuransi Jiwa Indonesia Mandiri Inhealth to the category of assets above Rp 1 trillion to Rp 5 trillion.

For general insurance group, the award was received by PT Asuransi Adira Dinamika and PT Sinarmas, in which both twins became champion in the categories of assets above Rp 3 trillion.

PT Asuransi Bangun Askrida managed to become the best insurance company for the category of assets between Rp 1 trillion to Rp 3 trillion, and PT Asuransi General BCA most categories of assets between Rp 250 billion to Rp 1 trillion. Meanwhile, the award for best reinsurance fell to the PT Reinsurance Naional Indonesia.

Chairman of the Jury Herris Simanjuntak said that the theme of this year's insurance rating resilience of insurance companies face declining economic growth. Here so many questions asked of the jury to the nominee.

"The theme is related to the economic conditions in Indonesia that are experiencing decline in growth," said Herris in a statement in Jakarta, Thursday (07/09/2015).

According to him, in an interview conducted, the jury can confirm the figures in the financial report and considered in depth when there are things that are less obvious.

In addition, the jury asked three aspects, the strategic aspect, readiness to face competition and the implementation of the Asean Economic Community (AEC), as well as aspects of the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and CSR.

Herris addition, there are four other jury who assess the nominations, namely Abiprayadi Riyanto, Budi Suharto, Eri Sumiarso, and Ketut Sendra.
